Protect Your Food
Already Unilever, one of the world's largest food companies, are beginning to introduce genetically engineered (GE) food into their product range. They have contaminated Batchelors Beanfest with GE soya and this establishes a dangerous precedent. If this GE ingredient is allowed into our food unchallenged then there are a flood of other GE foods waiting to come on the market that Unilever can easily slip into their other products. These include GE tomatoes, corn, sugar and rapeseed.
Many scientists have voiced their concerns about the safety of GE food. Poll after poll has shown that the public do not want it.
Iceland and smaller food producers have shown Unilever that GE soya can be kept out of food.
