A good place for a meeting

It seems such a thing isn't so easy to find as several groups have been or are looking for new venues, including Greenpeace, EAR and Edinburgh Vegans. Between starting and finishing this issue Greenpeace have moved to the Southsider and EAR are trying out the Autonomous Centre but Edinburgh Vegans are still on the lookout. Pubs appear the favourite option especially those that have a back room or function room to allow some quiet space. Can you or your group recommend a good venue for others to pursue further. As far as we know amongst the groups we cover there aren't many clashes of meeting times so there shouldn't be a competition problem.
