Proctor & Gamble boycott

One of PETA's (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) current campaigns is against the chemical and pharmaceutical giant Proctor & Gamble who make many of the best known and (sadly) most popular day to day products and in the process torture, injure and kill thousands of animals. The leaflet shown here is available from PETA directly or through Edinburgh Animal Rights who have been supporting the campaign at a local level.

Every type of product that P&G make is also made by some other company without the use of animal tests and not all of their products are legally required to be tested on animals. Nevertheless P&G refuse to stop animal tests. They even go so far as to have finished products animal tested in other countries to circumvent the UK ban on such tests.

Full details are available on the leaflet but for now here are some of the brand names of P&G products for you to consider boycotting.
