In the run up to World Day for Laboratory animals on 24 April, Edinburgh Animal Rights (EAR) will be holding weekly stalls in Princes Street. There will also be a public meeting on 28 March where the new National Antivivisection Society (NAVS) video "Unlock the Labs" will be shown. After viewing, the meeting will be open for general discussion or debate.
EAR's campaign to stop Quintiles animal tests will focus on the Riccarton laboratory on Friday and Saturday 14-15 April as part of the world-wide Laboratory animal month protests and demonstrations.
